<\/span>The Hasslacher Group has sold its Russian production site to Russian VLP Group.<\/p>\n

In addition to a sawmill and planing mill, the group used to operate a pellet plant in Russia and wanted to start producing glulam there in 2022. However, the Russian invasion of Ukraine forced the Hasslacher Group to abandon these plans.<\/p>\n

The site is located in the Novgorod region and is engaged in the production of sawn timber (including planed timber), chips and wood pellets. The transaction value has not been disclosed.<\/p>\n

According to VLP Group, the annual capacity of the sawmill line of the new asset allows processing up to 500,000 m\u00b3 of raw materials. Hasslacherles is a leaseholder of over 125,000 ha of forest fund in the Malovishersky district and harvests over 275,000 m3 of roundwood per year.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
