The price of raw wood on the Czech market is decreasing, it is at the level of about 2\/5 of last year's prices.<\/span><\/p>\n According to the state enterprise Lesy \u010cR, it is not final and prices will go even lower. \"The consequence of the recession in the construction industry is a drop in the prices of finished wood products, and therefore a reduction in the prices of raw wood,\" said Eva Jouklov\u00e1, spokeswoman for the state-owned company Lesy \u010cR, in a report.<\/p>\n According to the Czech Statistical Office, the prices of wooden products decreased by an average of 7% year-on-year. But the prices of firewood did not correspond to that. The downward trend in the prices of raw wood started from the second quarter of this year.
