On May 12th, Holzbauwerk Schwarzwald GmbH officially opened its newly built cross laminated timber production plant in Seewald (Freudenstadt district, Black Forest), Germany.<\/p>\n
At the plant, which has been in operation since September 2022, around 40,000 m\u00b3 of cross laminated timber (CLT) made of spruce and fir are produced and bound each year.<\/p>\n
The two managing directors J\u00f6rg K\u00fcbler (Holzwerk K\u00fcbler, Haiterbach) and Manuel Echtle (S\u00e4gewerk Echtle, Nordrach), who implemented the project together with the shareholder Klaus Henne (S\u00e4gewerk Streit, Hausach), particularly appreciated the political support of the Baden-W\u00fcrttemberg Minister who was present for rural areas, Peter Hauk.<\/p>\n
The manufacturer Weinig, Tauberbischofsheim,\u00a0as a full-service provider for this project, supplied all the systems, including the surface press and the production control system, from quality sorting of the sawn timber to the finished, glued CLT element.<\/p>\n
The carpentry machine comes from Hundegger, Hawangen. For the first time, a vacuum table enables flexible processing of the end faces within a nesting.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
