On average, the index for log wood decreased by -2,0% to 103,3 points. B qualities reached the level of 106,6 points ( -0,7% ), to which 3 m lengths contributed with -0,4% to 108,2 points. For 4\/5 m lengths the German Federal Statistics Office (Destatis) calculated 107 points ( -0,6% ).<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-32696 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/timberindustrynews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/germ-4-300x176.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"176\" srcset=\"https:\/\/timberindustrynews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/germ-4-300x176.jpeg 300w, https:\/\/timberindustrynews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/germ-4-1024x600.jpeg 1024w, https:\/\/timberindustrynews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/germ-4-768x450.jpeg 768w, https:\/\/timberindustrynews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/germ-4-1536x900.jpeg 1536w, https:\/\/timberindustrynews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/germ-4-2048x1200.jpeg 2048w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/>C qualities in Febuary reached 93,3 points ( -6,3% ) with 102,8 points ( -2,5% ) for 3 m lengths and 97 points ( -2,1% ) for 4\/5 m lengths. B\/C qualities reached 103,8 points ( -1,7% compared to the previous month).<\/p>\n<p>For spruce pulpwood Destatis calculated an index of 122,6 points (2,75%). Pulpwood of pine reached 121 points ( 4,8% ). Douglas fir pulpwood reached 86,3 points ( 6,3% ).
