Russian supplies of sawn timber to foreign markets continue to decline in 2023 and amounted to 2.8 million m\u00b3 in January-February, which is 23% lower than the level of January-February 2022.<\/p>\n
Problems are now having a huge impact on the decline in exports from Russia with shipment by rail to the Vostochny polygon, where Russian Railways, due to a lack of carrying capacity of the infrastructure, cannot agree on requests for transportation (GU-12).
