In January 2023, Swedish sawn timber export prices rose slightly compared to the previous month: +0.4% (linked to the rise in quotations on the American market), but still remained below January 2022 with -26.2%.<\/p>\n

They are above their levels of January 2020 (+34.5%) and January 2021 (+9%).<\/p>\n

Compared to December 2022, the prices of red wood increased by +1.2% and those of white wood remained stable.\u00a0Domestic market prices decreased by -0.2% and are -25.8% lower than the previous year's prices.<\/p>\n

As with export prices, domestic prices nevertheless remain above their levels of January 2020 (+23.9%) and January 2021 by (+6.4%).<\/p>\n
