Koskinen is currently building a new wood processing unit in J\u00e4rvela.\u00a0The construction of the facility is progressing according to plans and it will be commissioned during the summer.\u00a0The new unit will increase the production capacity of the group's sawmill industry from the current 300,000 cubic meters to 400,000 cubic meters.<\/p>\n
According to Koskinen, the demand for lumber continued to weaken as market uncertainty increased.\u00a0On the other hand, the demand for products from the board industry, especially birch plywood, remained strong.\u00a0However, the raw material situation for birch was tight.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
