The Austrian sawmill association, together with ETTF and EOS, is busy planning this year's International Softwood Conference.<\/p>\n
On October 11, everyone is invited to a guided tour around Vienna to see spectacular wooden buildings, and on the same evening there is a welcome reception with cocktails and an art exhibition for those interested.<\/p>\n
October 12 is the main conference day and will take place at the Hilton Vienna Park. The conference offers the opportunity to take a close look at the trends in the timber market, with a focus on facts and figures on the production and consumption of softwood in the most important countries for the industry - not only in Europe. The speakers will present developments and forecasts on the wood market, which is changing in many respects, and provide impetus for exchange and discussions.<\/p>\n
In the evening we invite you to a networking event with the opportunity to expand your network and talk to the most important players in the international softwood markets.<\/p>\n
