UK timber agent Gill & Robinson has reached an agreement to buy the business of Rowlinson Timber from the Rowlinson Group.<\/p>\n

As part of this deal, Gill & Robinson (part of the Kullik Group) will take over Rowlinson Timber\u2019s treatment facility and will continue to supply the Rowlinson customers through the existing operations from the Port of Sheerness, Kent.<\/p>\n

This also gives Gill & Robinson a strong foot holding in the South to complement its current operation in Goole, East Yorkshire servicing the structural timber manufacturers.<\/p>\n

Richard Smith, managing director of Rowlinson Timber, and part of his team will be joining Gill & Robinson.<\/p>\n

Gill & Robinson and Rowlinson Timber combined have over 200 years\u2019 experience in the industry. Rowlinson Group said it looked forward to supporting Gill & Robinson in its continued success building on this heritage.<\/p>\n
