The Swedish high-tech supplier for the sawmill and processing industry, ARAT AB,\u00a0has completed two acquisitions, H\u00f6ga Kusten Teknikresurs AB which is prominent in high-capacity edging, special machines for further processing, packaging equipment and machine construction and Loginor AB which operates in control systems and automation, both companies primarily target the sawmill industry.\u00a0The acquisitions expand ARAT's existing offering in the sawmill and further processing industry and are a step forward in the company group's strategic business development.<\/p>\n
ARAT is a company group that supplies high-tech equipment to the sawmill and processing industry.\u00a0The group was established in 2012, when the parent company ARAT acquired Almab, and was expanded in 2016 with Renholmen and AriVislanda.\u00a0ARAT was bought in 2018 by the Storskogen group, and subsequently also acquired Hedlunds and Milltech.\u00a0The companies within ARAT are run independently, where the parent company provides the conditions for the subsidiaries' development within their respective niches.\u00a0Through the acquisitions of Loginor and H\u00f6ga Kusten, the company group's offer is further broadened.<\/p>\n
H\u00f6ga Kusten develops, manufactures, sells and installs high-capacity edging and packaging equipment for sawmills as well as associated aftermarket products and service.\u00a0The company has 28 employees, head office in Kramfors and additional offices in \u00d6rnsk\u00f6ldsvik, H\u00e4rn\u00f6sand, Sundsvall and Bolln\u00e4s.\u00a0H\u00f6ga Kusten has a turnover of approximately SEK 80 million.<\/p>\n
Loginor develops, manufactures, sells, installs and programs control systems for timber and board handling.\u00a0The company has 7 employees, head office in Sundsvall and technology department in \u00d6stersund and turnover of approximately SEK 25 million.<\/p>\n
