In the context of the reorganization of its Wood segment, Arauco informed that on December 16, 2022, Inversiones Arauco Internacional Limitada contributed all of its interests in Arauco do Brasil S.A. and Arauco Argentina S.A. to the international parent entity incorporated in the United Kingdom called \"Arauco Wood Limited\".<\/p>\n
Thus, the subsidiary Arauco Wood Limited now owns the rights in the companies related to this business located in Canada, the United States, Mexico, Brazil and Argentina that belonged to Inversiones Arauco Internacional Limitada, 99% of the shares of Maderas Arauco S.A. (Chile) and 50% of the Spanish company Sonae Arauco.<\/p>\n
As a result of these last contributions, Arauco has concluded the reorganization process of the Maderas area initiated in the first half of 2022.<\/p>\n
Arauco is one of the largest global manufacturers of wooden panels including particleboard, MDF and OSB with an annual capacity of more than 9 milliom cubic meters.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
