The average prices at auctions organized by Romania's National Forestry Authority - Romsilva for the production of 2023 are 410 lei\/m3 (EUR 83\/m3), prices 228% higher considering the prices of 2021 as a reference, respectively 150% higher compared to 2022 prices. This comes after a reduced volume by half of the wood offered for auctions by Romsilva.<\/p>\n
There are very high percentages of volumes sold at an average of 90%.<\/p>\n
The volume offered is only 2.5 million cubic meters, practically half of the volume offered in 2021, under the conditions of establishing a harvest quota of 10 million cubic meters in 2023, half of which will be put on the market in shaped form.<\/p>\n
It should be noted that in 2022, although RNP-Romsilva reserved 4.75 million cubic meters to be put on the market, it only managed to put on the market approximately 3.1 million cubic meters, of which 2 million cubic meters were firewood and 1.1 million cubic meters for industry, according to the year-end press conference of the Romsilva management.<\/p>\n
