The discount for beetle wood is between 25 and 30 euros. Spruce long timber B was mainly traded between 105 and 110 euros/m3.

The price for pine is also stable and is between 70 and 75 euros per m3 for 2b BC. Many sawmills were also able to compensate for the lower lumber prices with the still very high prices for sawdust and wood pellets. However, since the end of October there has also been considerable price pressure for pellets and prices have fallen significantly.

On the other hand, most German forest owners are very satisfied with the prices for hardwood logs. Some southern German forest owner associations report that oak prices are going through the roof. Prices for beech logs are also rising sharply, even D wood is not sold for less than 80 euros/m3, C goods from the 5th thickness class reach the 100 euros mark, it is said.

Demand and prices for colored hardwood have also increased recently. As a result of the energy crisis , the prices for firewood were very high until recently. The prices for pulpwood are also still very high and are currently between 42.50 and 43.00 euros/cm.
