The price of sawlogs increased by 3 percent and pulpwood by 8 percent. In Svealand, the price of sawlogs increased the most by 7 percent, followed by S\u00f6dra Norrland with 4 percent. Also in Norra Norrland and G\u00f6taland, the price of sawlogs increased by 1 and 3 percent respectively.<\/p>\n<p>When it comes to the price of pulpwood, large regional differences are seen and the increase was greatest in Svealand with just over 12 percent, while pulpwood prices in Norra Norrland fell by 3 percent. In both G\u00f6taland and S\u00f6dra Norrland, pulpwood prices increased by approximately 9 and 7 percent respectively.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Continued rise in a yearly comparison<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>When compared with the third quarter of 2021 the prices are also considerably higher. Overall, the sawlog price increased by 16 percent. Regionally, an increase of 14 percent can be seen in both Svealand and S\u00f6dra Norrland. Also in Norra Norrland and G\u00f6taland, prices increased by 8 and 15 percent respectively.<\/p>\n<p>The pulpwood price increased as a whole by 25 percent. The increase was greatest in Svealand with just over 30 percent, followed by G\u00f6taland with 23 percent. Also in S\u00f6dra Norrland, pulpwood prices increased by 10 percent, while they fell by just under 1 percent in Northern Norrland in comparison to the third quarter of 2021.<\/p>\n<table
