In June, an average of EUR 68.6 per cubic metre was paid for pine logs and EUR 72.8 for spruce logs in standing sales in Finland. The real average prices for pine and spruce logs rose by three per cent from May. The price of softwood logs has been rising during the first half of the year.<\/p>\n

The standing sale price for pine pulpwood was EUR 20.2 per cubic metre, and for spruce pulpwood EUR 22.7 per cubic metre. The average prices of pine and spruce pulpwood rose six per cent from May. As with logs, the prices of pulpwood have also increased at the first half of the year.<\/p>\n

The delivery sales of roundwood are focused on pulpwood in Finland. The average roadside price for pine pulpwood was EUR 34.7 per cubic metre and for spruce pulpwood EUR 36,5 per cubic metre. The prices of both roundwood assortments rose from the previous month.<\/p>\n

In June, the trade of industrial roundwood was very brisk. The amount of roundwood trade ended up at 5,8 million cubic metres. This was less than the record in last June (8.2 mill. m\u00b3), but in the last five years, in only four months has more roundwood been traded than in the last month.Despite of brisk roundwood trade in June, the cumulative trade in the first half of the year remained at 18.1 million cubic metres. This was almost one third less than in the previous year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
