The Board of Directors of\u00a0Southeastern Timber Products LLC, an STP-Tolko Partnership (STP)\u00a0announces a $150 million capital investment in the STP lumber mill in Ackerman, Mississippi.<\/p>\n

The partnership is a joint venture between\u00a0Tolko Industries\u00a0(U.S.) Ltd. and STP Holdings, LLC. This investment is the next step in an expansion project that will upgrade the mill from 120MMFBM to 250MMFBM annual capacity. The project will conclude in the 1Q 2024.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re excited to be moving to the next stage of this expansion,\u201d says Tolko CEO Brad Thorlakson. \u201cWe first announced our partnership with STP in November 2018 and are happy to reinvest in the community as well as help strengthen and expand the local job market.\u201d<\/p>\n

Southeastern Timber Products LLC, an STP-Tolko Partnership is a family-owned and operated manufacturer of southern yellow pine with its manufacturing facility located in Ackerman, Mississippi. In continuous operation since 1972, the Ackerman facility currently produces approximately 120MMFBM of lumber on an annual basis. STP produces southern yellow pine dimension, timber, and decking products for the treating, homebuilding, and repair and remodel sectors.<\/p>\n
