The German Ziegler Group has recently entered the Swedish market with the purchase of two sawmills in Sweden.<\/p>\n

The Balungstrands and B\u00e4ckebrons sawmills are at the heart of the Scandinavian Profura AB group.<\/p>\n

The sawmills currently have an annual processing capacity of around 700,000 solid cubic meters of logs on a total of more than 35 hectares of operating space.<\/p>\n

The purchase agreement for the sawmill division Greenwood Sverige AB from Profura Group (which includes the two sawmills) was signed on the 11th of May, in Betzenm\u00fchle, Germany, at the headquarters of the Ziegler Group.<\/p>\n

\"The two sawmills in Balungstrands and Backebrons were the center of the Profura Group,\" Ziegler Group CEO, Stefan Ziegler stated.<\/p>\n

The sawmills in Sweden opened up new opportunities for the German company - \"in the context of purchasing as well as sales activities\"\u00a0 they enrich the existing product portfolio with the \"known to be very high-quality Nordic softwood\".<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
