Finland's largest sawmill company has a turnover of half a billion.At the end of June last year, the Finland's largest sawmill, Versowood, set an all-time record in both net sales and earnings.<\/p>\n

Net sales increased by 31 percent, or EUR 111.2 million, to EUR 464.4 million.<\/p>\n

The result of the actual business took a huge leap to EUR 39.5 million.\u00a0The previous year's result had been a modest EUR 1.4 million.<\/p>\n

The net result of the this financial statement rose to EUR 28.6 million, compared to a loss of 5.7 million a year earlier.<\/p>\n

\u201cTurnover rose sharply during the fiscal year due to very low prices in the previous fiscal year, sluggish trading due to the U.S.-China trade war, a bad winter and a six-week strike,\u201d\u00a0commented CEO\u00a0Ville Kopra .<\/p>\n
