The construction of wooden buildings, especially multi-storey, is booming in France and around the world.\u00a0As a result, the demand for CLT panels increases dramatically.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

To meet the growing market needs for French wood-based products, Schilliger Bois SAS is installing an automated CLT production line in Volgelsheim.\u00a0According to the company, this investment of several tens of millions of euros aims to gain in competitiveness and increase the offer to markets in France and for export.<\/span><\/p>\n

The new CLT production line will occupy approximately 5,000 m2<\/span>\u00a0in an existing hall and will have an annual capacity of 50,000 m3<\/span>.\u00a0It will be fully operational in January 2024.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Schilliger Holz AG is a Swiss family business that has been operating internationally since 1861, processing local wood from sustainably managed forests.
