Segezha Group plans to quadruple production of CLT products by 2026.\u00a0With the expansion of production capacities in the Krasnoyarsk Territory and the Arkhangelsk Region, the total production of the company will reach 200 thousand m\u00b3 of panels per year.<\/p>\n

\u201cCurrently, only the Sokol CLT plant in the city of Sokol produces CLT-panels within the group's perimeter.\u00a0Its capacity is 50 thousand m3 (approximately 200 thousand m2 of housing per year).\u00a0The holding plans to expand its CLT production capacity through the creation of new production lines in the Arkhangelsk region (by 2024, capacity - 50 thousand m\u00b3) and in the Krasnoyarsk Territory (by 2026, 100 thousand m\u00b3), \u200b\u200b\"the group reports.<\/p>\n

Recently, the Segezha Group has completed the acquisition of Inter Forest Rus from Bonum Capital, an investment group in various assets such as international public markets, private equity, venture capital and real estate in Russia.<\/p>\n

Inter Forest Rus, which comprises 24 forest industry assets and a forest resource base in the Krasnoyarsk and Irkutsk regions, is expected to be consolidated into Segezha Group\u2019s financial reporting by the end of December 2021.<\/p>\n

As a result of the transaction, the Segezha Group will strengthen its position as a producer of lumber in Russia and Europe, and according to the group, will become a \u201cglobal top 10 producer\u201d in the segment.<\/p>\n

At the same time, Segesha's sawmill capacity will increase to 3.4 million m\u00b3 of lumber per year. In addition, the production of wood pellets will grow to 380 thousand tons, the production of plywood by 20% to 232 thousand m\u00b3.<\/p>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
