Finland's spruce logs reached an average price of EUR 64.9 per cubic metre in standing sales in November. It was the same as in October.<\/p>\n

The average price of pine logs decreased one percent to EUR 60.3. The price level of logs was three percent lower than during the whole last year in standing sales.<\/p>\n

The standing sale price in Finland was EUR 19.6 per cubic metre for spruce pulpwood, EUR 17.3 for pine pulpwood and 17.0 for birch pulpwood. Compared to the previous month, the average price of pine pulpwood decreased four percent, as spruce and birch went down two percent. The average price level of pulpwood was 11 percent lower than in last year.<\/p>\n

The roadside price for pine pulpwood was EUR 32.2, for spruce pulpwood EUR 33.4 and for birch pulpwood EUR 32.5 per cubic metre. The price of birch pulpwood increased one percent from the previous month and the others remain unchanged. In delivery sales, the average price level of pulpwood was 11 percent lower than in the whole last year.<\/p>\n

Finnish trade of roundwood slowed down further in November. The trade diminished 14 percent from the year before and was 17 percent smaller than the average for the previous three years.<\/p>\n

However, the amount of industrial roundwood purchased in January\u2013November rose by 33 percent year-on-year and was 16 percent higher than the average for the previous three years. Compared to the previous three years, the trade in logs increased by 31 percent and the trade in pulpwood by three percent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
