The Japanese Iida Group will acquire 75% in the Russian Forest Products Group timber holding for about $ 525 million.The total share of its current shareholders - Roman Abramovich, Alexander Abramov and RDIF - will go down to 25%.<\/em><\/p>\n

The Japanese Iida Group Holdings, having received permission from the Russian authorities, announced the acquisition of 75% in the RFP Group timber industry holding, controlled by Roman Abramovich, Alexander Abramov and their partners.<\/p>\n

The overall valuation of the deal, including the acquisition of shares, participation in the additional issue and investment in the company, will amount to about $ 525 million, the Japanese company said in a statement.
