The latest news reflects that the greater downward pressure on the price of New Zealand radiata pine logs in the Guangdong market, has brought certain operating pressures on European spruce.<\/p>\n

Some merchants contacted by GWMI reported that although the current inventory of European spruce logs in the Guangdong market is very small, Chinese timber traders are not very motivated to order replenishment.<\/p>\n

This is related to the expected decline in total domestic demand. On the other hand, high costs and sales pressure also make timber traders to not place orders easily.<\/p>\n

At present, the price of European spruce logs is 150-155 Euro\/cubic meter, and the domestic price of logs with a diameter of 20-28cm is reported to be about 1200 yuan\/cubic meter (162.40 Euro\/m3).<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
