According to Chinese importers contacted by Timber Industry News, the supply of Finnish pine lumber in China's domestic market continues to be in a state of shortage and prices are constantly increasing.<\/em><\/p>\n

The main reason is that the\u00a0operating rate of local wood processing plants in Europe is low, the production capacity of Finnish pine is severely insufficient, and the supply volume has shrunk sharply, doubled by the shortage of containers.<\/p>\n

Chinese importers also said that the price of Finnish pine at the moment is extremely high, which directly leads to a sharp decline in the purchasing enthusiasm of downstream manufacturers.<\/p>\n

Many Chinese manufacturers have switched to other alternative wood species, such as beech. .<\/p>\n
