Stilll under the influence of the Covid-19 pandemic and the price pressure of the bark beetle infestation in Central Europe, the August prices of roundwood in Estonia are considerably lower over a year ago.<\/p>\n

Pine sawlogs could be bought for EUR 65.30\/m3 in August, which is a -12% decrease as compared to August of last year. Also, the price for spruce sawlogs dropped to EUR 55.31\/m3, -22% less than August 2019.<\/p>\n

The price of birch decreased by -8% compared to August 2019.<\/p>\n

Among the pulpwood assortments, the price for pine dropped by -32%, down to EUR 23.12\/m3. The price for spruce pulpwood also dropped by -30% as compared to August 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n<\/colgroup>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
