Sawlog prices in Russia have increased slightly in June 2020, indicating a recovery from the coronavirus lockdown months, when prices trended downwards. At an average of 2,669 RUB\/m3 (29.67 EUR\/m3) in June 2020, softwood sawlogs in Northwestern Russia have increased by 10% as compared to May but are 7% lower as compared to June 2019.<\/em><\/p>\n

Following a similar trend, hardwood sawlog prices in Russia have<\/span>\u00a0risen in June 2020 as compared to the previous month by 16%. However, hardwood sawlogs prices are 42% lower as compared to June 2019.<\/p>\n

In the pulpwood section, prices show a downward trend: softwood pulpwood prices are lower in June 2020 by about -13% over both May 2020 and -18% over June 2019.<\/p>\n
