The prices for roundwood in Estonia have mostly increased during April 2020, despite the coronavirus pandemic. However most prices are way lower as compared to the same month of 2019.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

As compared to March 2020, the price pine sawlogs went up by more than 5%, while the price for spruce sawlogs is higher by 1.6%.<\/p>\n

Pine sawlogs could be bought for EUR 67.70\/m3 in April, which is a -9% decrease as compared to April of last year. Also, the price for spruce sawlogs dropped to EUR 60.54\/m3, -21% less than April 2019.<\/p>\n

The price of birch decreased by almost -13% compared to April 2019, but has increased by more than 1% over March 2020.<\/p>\n

Among the pulpwood types of wood, the price for pine increased slightly when compared to March, reaching EUR 29.11\/m3. The price for spruce pulpwood also increased slightly when to March. All pulpwood assortments remain cheaper as compared to last year.<\/p>\n\n\n<\/colgroup>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
