In April 2020, the export price of hardwood timber used for sawing and planing in Russia reached the highest value of 7565 rubles per cubic meter (US$ 107.20\/m3), which was 58% higher than the price in 2019.<\/em><\/p>\n

In 2018, the price of hardwood logs rose 8% to 2021 rubles per cubic meter (US$ 28.64\/m3). The average price of hardwood for sawing and planing in 2019 was 2248 rubles per cubic meter (US$ 31.85\/m3). This is an 11% increase from the average price in 2018.<\/p>\n

The highest price of softwood logs used for sawing and planing in Russia in 2019 is 3750 rubles per cubic meter (US$ 53.14\/m3) in the Federal District of the Far East, and the average price of softwood used for sawing and planing in the Siberian Federal District is 2646 rubles per cubic meter (US$ 37.49\/m3) and 2623 rubles per cubic meter (US$ 37.17\/m3) in the Northwest Federal District.<\/p>\n

The highest price of Russian hardwood in 2019 is 9386 rubles per cubic meter (US$ 133\/m3) in the Central Federal District, 4883 rubles per cubic meter (US$ 69.19\/m3) in the Far Eastern Federal District, and 2510 rubles per cubic meter (US$ 35.57\/m3) in the Northwest Federal District.<\/p>\n

The export price of Russian softwood logs reached its highest value in August 2017, at 4608 rubles per cubic meter (US$ 65.30\/m3). By August 2019, export prices had dropped to 4188 rubles per cubic meter (US$ 59.34\/m3), a drop of about 9%.<\/p>\n

In 2019, the highest export price of Russian softwood logs appeared in the Far Eastern Federal District at 4016 rubles per cubic meter (US$ 56.91\/m3), and the average export price of softwood logs in the Siberian Federal District was 3537 rubles per cubic meter (US$ 50.12\/m3).<\/p>\n

In 2019, the average export price of hardwood timber for sawing and planing in the Far Eastern Federal District was 5,950 rubles per cubic meter (US$ 84.31\/m3).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
