The coronavirus pandemic affects the debate on the European Green Deal in a number of ways.<\/em><\/p>\n

While some industry associations are calling for loosening of CO2 limitation decisions, others are encouraging them to take advantage of the crisis and combine already pending investments in sustainability with corona economic support.<\/p>\n

What is particularly noticeable is that Corona has priority and other issues have to give way.<\/p>\n

According to various media reports, for example, the forest strategy will be postponed until 2021, allegedly so that it can be better connected with other regulations that have already been formulated until then.<\/p>\n
