After the intermediate high in the first quarter of 2014, the prices of softwood fell sharply.\u00a0The downward trend continued until the fourth quarter of 2019 and is obviously unstoppable.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

The prices for beech pulpwood, on the other hand, rose continuously until mid-2019 and started to move slightly downwards in autumn.\u00a0At the end of 2019, the prices for beech pulpwood started to rise again.<\/p>\n

Spruce was significantly cheaper in the fourth quarter of 2019 compared to the previous quarter by 4.9% to \u20ac 17.10 \/ m3.\u00a0The prices for pine also fell significantly by 3.6% to \u20ac 18.10 \/ m3.\u00a0Beech, on the other hand, increased significantly by 5.5% to \u20ac 52.40 \/ m3.<\/p>\n

Compared to the same quarter of the previous year, the prices for spruce fell by 27% and those for pine by 24%.\u00a0Beech was 10% more expensive, and oak was also up 3%.<\/p>\n

The prices for pulpwood were also influenced by changes in exchange rates compared to the previous year.\u00a0While spruce and pine pulpwood, when viewed in CZK \/ m3, fell sharply by 28% and 25% compared to the previous year, beech in local currency increased 9% and 2% for oak (reference rate: EUR 1 = 25,50 CZK).<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
