{"id":78808,"date":"2020-02-19T05:56:42","date_gmt":"2020-02-19T05:56:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/tin.happy-projects.ro\/45th-ciff-cifm-interzum-guangzhou-2020-postponed-due-coronavirus-outbreak\/"},"modified":"2025-09-19T08:52:45","modified_gmt":"2025-09-19T08:52:45","slug":"45th-ciff-cifm-interzum-guangzhou-2020-postponed-due-coronavirus-outbreak","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.timberindustrynews.com\/ro\/45th-ciff-cifm-interzum-guangzhou-2020-postponed-due-coronavirus-outbreak\/","title":{"rendered":"45th CIFF and CIFM\/interzum Guangzhou 2020 postponed due to coronavirus outbreak"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"article-content\">\n<p>The postponement of the 45<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0CIFF Guangzhou and CIFM\/interzum Guangzhou 2020 has been announced by the sponsoring organization.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs China is fighting a serious battle against the novel coronavirus, prevention and control of the epidemic is the country\u2019s most important work for now,\u201d said China Foreign Trade Guangzhou-Exhibition General Corp. in a statement.<\/p>\n<p>Following the Chinese government\u2019s guidelines to contain the virus, the Department of Commerce of Guangdong Province and Guangzhou Municipal Commerce Bureau recently announced that all large-scale economic and trade events should be suspended.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTo ensure health and safety of all participants, the organizers have taken the decision to postpone the 45<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0China International Furniture Fair (Guangzhou) (\u201cCIFF Guangzhou\u201d) and\u00a0China International Furniture Machinery &amp; Furniture Raw Materials Fair 2020 (\u201cCIFM\/interzum guangzhou\u201d) until a later date,\u201d the statement said.<\/p>\n<p>The fairs were originally scheduled for March 18-21 and 28-31 in Guangzhou. New dates will be set in due course.<\/p>\n<p>As a brand exhibition organized by the national team of China\u2019s exhibition industry, CIFF adheres to the principle of \u201cputting exhibitors and visitors first\u201d. Given the current situation of the novel coronavirus in China, rescheduling the fairs to protect people\u2019s health and safety is an important and necessary decision to make.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNo matter how difficult it is, CIFF will, as always, stand by the international furniture and furnishing industry.
