{"id":78806,"date":"2020-02-19T04:56:40","date_gmt":"2020-02-19T04:56:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/tin.happy-projects.ro\/pellet-production-germany-reaches-record-high\/"},"modified":"2025-09-19T08:52:45","modified_gmt":"2025-09-19T08:52:45","slug":"pellet-production-germany-reaches-record-high","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.timberindustrynews.com\/ro\/pellet-production-germany-reaches-record-high\/","title":{"rendered":"Pellet production in Germany reaches record high"},"content":{"rendered":"<ul>\n<li><em>Germany's pellet manufacturers successfully closed the fourth quarter of 2019 with another production record.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span id=\"more-22334\"><\/span>With an output of 752,000 t, the volume of the third quarter was exceeded by 12,000 t or 1.6% and that of the final quarter of 2018 by 124,000 t or 19.7%.<\/p>\n<p>The German Energy Wood and Pellet Association (DEPV) has therefore reported that every quarter has been exceeded again since the third quarter of 2018. The total amount for 2019 is 2.8 million t of pellets.<\/p>\n<p>In view of the already announced capacity expansion of pellet producers, an annual production of 3.0 million t this year is expected this year.<\/p>\n<p>The proportion of non-sawable logs rose again to 18.9 percent at the end of the year. In the third quarter of 2019, the figure was 12.2 percent, in previous years 5 to 6 percent.<\/p>\n<p>Since the second quarter of 2019, the proportion of sacked goods has been around 25 percent, three quarters are traded loose. 14.7 percent of the pellets produced in Germany are exported. 97.4 percent corresponded to the quality class EN plus A1.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Germany&#8217;s pellet manufacturers successfully closed the fourth quarter of 2019 with another production record.
