That is 34 per cent more than at the same time last year.<\/p>\n<p>The stocks of pulpwood were a total of 5.6 million cubic metres, which is 43 per cent more than the same time last year. The stock of pine and softwood pulp accounted for most of the increase and was 4.2 million cubic metres 64 per cent higher than last year. The stocks of spruce pulpwood and deciduous wood were 0.5 and 0.9 million cubic metres respectively.<\/p>\n<p>Compared with last autumn, the share of pulpwood stored at terminal has increased and the share of stocks by the road declined. The proportion of stored pulpwood in the industry is unchanged.<\/p>\n<p>The stocks of softwood are estimated to have amounted to 2.8 million cubic metres, which is 22 per cent more than at the same time last year.<\/p>\n<p>The stock of pulp chips was 0.9 million cubic metres.
