In 2018, the concentration of China's plywood industry continued to increase. There were more than 5,300 plywood production enterprises in the country, a decrease of 4.6% year-on-year. The production capacity of these companies continued to increase, and the average production capacity reached 31,100 cubic meters per year. More than 230 companies have an annual production capacity of more than 100,000 cubic meters per year.<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Among the producers of plywood products, there are about 65 large enterprises or enterprise groups, accounting for 1.2% of the total number of enterprises, up 0.7 percentage points year-on-year; small and medium-sized enterprises account for over 98%, and the proportion of medium-sized enterprises in major production areas has increased. The proportion of small businesses continues to decline.<\/p>\n

By the end of 2018, there were more than 5,300 plywood-type production enterprises in the country, with a total production capacity of about 165 million cubic meters per year, distributed in 31 provinces (cities, districts). By the end of 2018, more than 3,350 plywood-type production enterprises had been closed, revoked or discontinued, and the total number of enterprises showed a downward trend year by year, and the supply-side structural reform continued to advance.<\/p>\n

The production capacity of plywood products in Shandong, Jiangsu and Guangxi is far ahead of other provinces (cities, districts), ranking the top three in the country, and the total production capacity of the three provinces (regions) accounts for about 63% of the country's total production capacity.<\/p>\n

The production capacity of plywood products in East China is about 60% of the country, and there are more than 3,000 plywood production enterprises with a total production capacity of more than 100 million cubic meters per year. It is the country's largest production area.<\/p>\n

The production capacity of plywood products in South China covers about 20% of the country, and there are more than 1,100 plywood production enterprises with a total production capacity of about 33 million cubic meters per year, making it the second largest production area in China.<\/p>\n

The production capacity of plywood products in Central China is close to 9% of the country, making it the third largest production area in the country.<\/p>\n

The production capacity of plywood products in North China is close to 5% of the country, making it the fourth largest production area in the country.<\/p>\n

The total production capacity of plywood products in the southwest, northeast and northwest regions is less than 6% of the national total.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
