The consumption was negative for the first time in the past decade. The average annual growth rate of national wood-based panel consumption in the past 10 years was close to 13.1%.<span id=\"more-21125\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p>It still exceeds the growth rate of production by 0.5 percentage points, but the growth gap is narrowing significantly. Consumption is still the driving force driving the development of China's wood-based panel industry.\u00a0The consumption of plywood products increased slightly, and the consumption of fiberboard products and particleboard products showed a different degree of decline.\u00a0In 2018, the destocking of wood-based panel products continued to advance.<\/p>\n<p>In 2018, under the complicated international trade environment, China exported a total of 14.23 million cubic meters of wood-based panel products, an increase of 2.1% over the previous year.\u00a0The export value was about 6.773 billion US dollars, up 6.8% over the previous year, changing the trend of the previous three consecutive years of decline.\u00a0The export volume and export volume of plywood products and particleboard products increased year-on-year.
