Producer prices for commercial wood products in Germany continued to decline in June.\u00a0While there is a split picture compared to the previous year, in the short-term comparison only six figures are up on the previous month, four more unchanged, 16 in the minus.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

In comparison to June 2018, 13 of the 26 values \u200b\u200bshow a positive development.\u00a0Front runners are wooden window and door frames as well as beech and hardwood lumber with increases of between 3% and 4%.<\/span>\u00a0On the negative side, raw chipboard tops the list with a minus of 10% compared to the same month of the previous year.\u00a0This is followed by wood chips and broad boards, each with just under -6% and pallets with a minus of 5.5%.<\/p>\n

Compared to May 2019, six values \u200b\u200bdeveloped positively in June.\u00a0The values \u200b\u200bwith the highest increases are the same as in the previous year: wooden and wooden door frames and beech and hardwood lumber with increases of 1%.\u00a0The downside was for 16 products, especially for OSB and narrow boards at -1.7% each, and pellets and lumber at -1.6% each.<\/p>\n\n\n<\/colgroup>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
