The second quarter of 2019 shows rising sawlog prices in Sweden on a yearly basis.\u00a0<\/span>Pine sawlogs are more expensive by almost 6%, while spruce by more than 8%.<\/p>\n

Pine logs cost now an average of 472 SEK\/m3 (EUR 44.92\/m3), while spruce logs were traded in the second quarter at SEK 531\/m3 (EUR 50.54\/m3).<\/p>\n

Pulpwood prices have grown at even higher levels than those of sawlogs. Pine and spruce pulpwood prices have increased by 14.76% and 13.57% respectively.<\/p>\n

As compared to first quarter of 2019, the price movements have manifested in the same way. The price of pine sawlogs have increased slightly, while the value of spruce sawlogs have risen at a higher level.<\/p>\n\n\n<\/colgroup>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
