The prices for softwood roundwood in Estonia are falling again after the rapid increase since the turn of 2017\/18.\u00a0The trend, which started in April, intensified in May.<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Spruce and pine sawlogs are priced at the same rate of 75-76 EUR \/ m3, while small-diameter conifers at about 64 EUR \/ m3.\u00a0All sawlogs prices are about 2.5-3.5% below the April values \u200b\u200bin May.\u00a0Compared to the same month of the previous year, only the price of spruce has yielded, the three other product ranges are still above the previous year's level.<\/p>\n

The price decline in the softwood pulpwood is stronger.\u00a0Pine alone dropped almost 9% from April to May, and more than 13% down on the previous year.\u00a0Spruce has lost a good 6% from April to May and is still slightly above the value of May 2018. The hardwood pulpwood prices have developed unevenly but are both below the previous year's level.<\/p>\n\n\n<\/colgroup>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
