Kronospan plans to produce wood boards on the the territory of advanced development of Primorye, located in Far East Russia,\u00a0between the\u00a0Sea of Japan\u00a0to the east and northeastern\u00a0China\u00a0to the west. It is the most southerly of the Russian Far Eastern territories.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

According to Ardasher Kurbansho, General Director of Kronospan LLC: \u201cPrimorye has a great export potential: the Republic of Korea, Taiwan, China are nearby. The project will be more competitive if it is produced and sold from the Far East. The emergence of production in the Far Eastern Federal district will ensure our strong presence in the global market.\u201d<\/p>\n

The head of the subsidiary of the Austrian holding stressed that the production will not use business wood, and raw materials for the production of chipboard, MDF and OSB will use\u00a0 slab, chips, sawdust and pruning.<\/p>\n

The site for production, as the most suitable in terms of logistics, can be either the territory of advanced development \u201cNadezhdinskaya\u201d or \u201cMikhailovsky\u201d.<\/p>\n
