IKEA Industry has completed the expansion of its factory in Zb\u0105szynek, Poland. The site is now\u00a0the largest furniture production complex in the world.\u00a0<\/strong>The factory will manufacture IKEA furniture from the popular EKET series.\u00a0The ceremonial opening, with the participation of employees, the board and the local community, took place on May 9, 2019.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

IKEA Industry in Zb\u0105szynek specializes in the production of furniture from cellular boards.\u00a0The newly opened part of the plant produces furniture from the popular EKET series in six color variants: white, light and dark gray, as well as new in golden-brown, red and imitation oak stained in white.\u00a0The maximum capacity of the hall is 125,000 pieces of furniture per week, doubled after the expansion.\u00a0Currently, production in the factory has reached the level of 95% of production capacity.\u00a0The EKET series furniture manufactured in the Polish factory is delivered to IKEA stores in 52 markets around the world.<\/p>\n

IKEA Industry Zb\u0105szynek<\/strong><\/p>\n

IKEA Industry Zb\u0105szynek is the largest furniture production complex in the world.\u00a0It is made up of factories in Zb\u0105szynek, Zb\u0105szy\u0144 and Babimost.\u00a0The first plant was established in 1992 on the basis of local Furniture Cooperatives.\u00a0Currently, over 600 kinds of IKEA furniture are made here, including EKET series storage furniture, LACK series tables and children's furniture from the STUVA series.\u00a0The plant employs over 3,400 employees.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
