Southern Pine was most vulnerable to price cuts.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>In the West, trends were mostly flat to higher, while Canadian S-P-F prices were flat to narrowly mixed. Solid carryover from last week\u2019s faster pace led to double-digit price increases in western markets for OSB sheathing for the first time since last August.<\/p>\n<p>Most of the week\u2019s volume in Southern Pine plywood traded below last week\u2019s reported prices. But traders noted subsiding downward price pressure in rated sheathing after mills sold prompt loadings and extended order files.<\/p>\n<p>Truckload buyers of western Fir plywood sought only small concessions from producers when filling inventory holes.
