Sawlog prices in Finland increased for almost all assortments during in February as compared to the same month last year. <\/em><\/p>\n

The highest price increase was registered in spruce species. Spruce sawlogs price increased by 6.67% (up to EUR 65\/m3) as compared to February 2018, while the price of small-sized spruce logs rose by 7.71%.<\/p>\n

As for the other log prices, pine sawlogswent up by 4.36%, to EUR 61.48\/m3 but birch logs dropped by-0.33%, down to EUR 50.88\/m3.<\/p>\n

For the pulpwood assortments, there are some significant upward price movements as compared to last year.\u00a0 The price for birch pulpwood increased the most (+14.07) up to 33.15%.\u00a0 Pine and spruce pulpwood prices increased by 12.66% and 13.92%, respectively.<\/p>\n\n\n<\/colgroup>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
