Pine and spruce sawlog price varies by between 78 and 79 EUR per cubic meter, a rise of around 2% as compared to a year ago.<\/em><span id=\"more-19174\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p>At the turn of the year, small-sized softwood roundwood made a veritable price jump. Small-sized pine and spruce cost around 66-69 EUR\/m3 and thus increased by 10% and 6% as compared to December 2018. The increase is of 8-10% as compared to the same month of 2018.<\/p>\n<p>In hardwood assortments there are some mixed developments. The price of aspen sawlogs increased slightly, how ever the price of birch has decreased slightly. However, when compared to last year, prices are on an upward trend: +8% and +18%, over January 2018.<\/p>\n<p>The price of pine and spruce pulpwood are almost at the same level, after pine pulpwood has fallen by 6% since November, and the price of spruce increased by 9% after a slight price dip.
