The Belgian manufacturer of veneered panels Decospan plans to double its production capacity at the Menen site.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

An expansion is currently underway with 30,000 square meters of storage and production space.\u00a0This includes a high-bay warehouse, which is currently being tested and is scheduled to go into operation in the late summer of 2019.<\/p>\n

The daily production of currently around 8,000 plates (usually 2.5 x 1.25 m) is expected to rise to around 16,000 plates.\u00a0For this purpose, the production area at Plant 2 will be doubled, from 40,000 to 80,000 square meters.\u00a0The total investment is currently around 40 million euros.<\/p>\n

Decospan has a turnover of around 110 million euros.\u00a0It is set to rise to 180-200 million euros within the next five years and thus to almost double.<\/p>\n

At the this year's BAU, Decospan has also presented its new logo with the subtitle \"Wood Solutions\".<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
