German producer prices for wood products tended to be mixed in November and December.\u00a0Although prices are still above the previous year's level, the short-term price trend is showing increasingly negative signs, especially in December.<\/em><\/p>\n

In November, virtually all index values \u200b\u200bfor construction softwood products were down on the previous month.\u00a0Otherwise, with the exception of raw chipboard and pallets, there is a positive to stable short-term development.<\/p>\n

In December, the picture has reversed.\u00a0Only five values \u200b\u200bare pointing upwards.\u00a0The rest is negative or stagnant compared to the previous month.\u00a0MDF, HDF and raw chipboard show the clearest downward trend in November.<\/p>\n

In both months practically all values \u200b\u200bare on a positive trend compared to the previous year.\u00a0The ranking is led by OSB boards, followed by pallets and narrow boards.\u00a0The only exception is laminate flooring, where the negative trend intensifies from November to December.<\/p>\n
