In January-October 2018, Russia increased its lumber exports, both in value and in volume terms, indicate the statistics published by the Russian Federal Customs Office.<\/em><\/p>\n

Thus, during the first ten months of the current year Russia exported 16.14 million m3 of lumber. That is 6% more than during the respective period of the last year.<\/p>\n

The total value of the exported Russian lumber increased as well. In January-October 2018 it came up to $3.794 billion having gone up by 15.7%.<\/p>\n

In their turn, Russian logs exports went down in volume terms, but increased in value terms. In January-October 2018, the Russian logs exports came up to 15.119 million m3, having gone down by 4.9% year-on-year.<\/p>\n

The total value of the Russian logs exported in January-October 2018 came up to $1.212 billion, that is 1.1% more than during the respective period of 2017.<\/p>\n

In January-October 2018, Russia increased its plywood exports, both in value and in volume terms, indicate the statistics published by the Russian Federal Customs Office.<\/p>\n

Thus, according to the latest data, in January-October Russian plywood export volume came up to 2.239 million m3.
\nThat is 8.5% more than during the respective months of 2017.<\/p>\n

The total value of the Russian plywood exported in January-October 2018 came up to $1.139 billion and grew by 24.7% year-on-year.<\/p>\n
