The sharp rise in roundwood prices in Estonia at the beginning of the year consolidated in August and September.\u00a0Both the price of softwood logs and pulpwood are on a slight downward trend, but well above the level of the same month last year.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

The weakest trend can be noticed in spruce logs, which at EUR 76.90\/m3 is still close to its all-time high of EUR 78.07\/m3.\u00a0Pine logs prices are moving up in September, both as compared to August as well as compared with September 2017.<\/p>\n

In pulpwood, the situation looks similar.\u00a0Spruce, pine and birch have risen dramatically as compared to September 2017, but are slowly moving downhill as compared to August.<\/p>\n

The prices for birch veneer and logs are within the normal fluctuation range and are currently 7-8% higher than in the previous year.\u00a0Fuelwood is currently moving sideways and costs about 5% more than in the previous year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<\/colgroup>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
