In January-September 2018, Russia increased its softwood lumber exports, both in value and in volume terms, indicate the statistics published by the Russian Federal Customs Office.<\/em><\/p>\n

Thus, during the first nine months of the current year Russia exported 14.409 million tonnes of\u00a0softwood lumber. That is 5.2% more than during the respective period of the last year. The total value of the exported Russian\u00a0softwood lumber\u00a0increased as well. In January-September 2018 it came up to $3.389 billion having gone up by 15.7%.<\/p>\n

In their turn, Russian log exports went down in volume terms, but increased in value terms.<\/p>\n

In January-September 2018, the Russian log exports came up to 13.356 million m3, having gone down by 6.4% year-on-year. The total value of the Russian logs exported in January-September 2018 came up to $1.087 billion, that is 1% more than during the respective period of 2017.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
