Prices for locally sawn imported hardwoods<\/strong><\/p>\n

The higher ex-mill prices introduced at the beginning of\u00a0September are holding and millers are thankful to be\u00a0getting some relief from the rising costs of imported raw\u00a0materials as the rupee continues to fall against the US\u00a0dollar.<\/p>\n

A spokesperson from the Reserve Bank of India said the\u00a0bank is closely monitoring the situation but has yet to\u00a0intervene to support the rupee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
