The European softwood lumber exports to China fell by -27% during January-June 2018, as compared to the\u00a0same period last year.<\/em><\/p>\n

Thus, the European Union countries sent\u00a01,103,667 m3 of softwood lumber to China, during the mentioned period, as compared to the\u00a01,515,727 m3 that they sent in 2017.<\/p>\n

The biggest exporter was Finland, although its shipments decreased by -32% as compared to January-June 2017. The country sent\u00a0553,675 m3 of softwood lumber to China, while Sweden and Germany came in second and third place\u00a0by sending 364,636 m3 and 50,429 m3 of softwood lumber to China during the mentioned period.<\/p>\n

The value of the European softwood lumber exports to China decreased by -25%, to EUR 210,769,308.<\/p>\n
